MAKE A TEXT FACE

How to use the Kaomoji Maker.

The maker keeps the left and right sides of a face together while you explore different expressions. You can begin with a familiar mood or change one detail at a time.

01

Pick a starting mood

Choose Cute, Happy, Shy, Crying, or Surprised for a complete starting face. Random gives you another coordinated combination. A preset makes it easier to hear the tone before you adjust the details.

02

Change the kaomoji parts

Work through the eyes, mouth, frame, cheeks, and arms to shape your face. The preview changes immediately. Try changing only the eyes first: (◕‿◕) feels softer than (⊙‿⊙), even though the mouth stays the same.

03

Copy your finished face

Press Copy face to paste the complete kaomoji into a chat, caption, or bio. Save faces you use often in this browser, or copy a share link that brings someone back to your current creation.

THE DETAILS MATTER

Create custom kaomoji
with the right expression.

Kaomoji eyes carry the feeling

Eyes often do more work than the mouth in a kaomoji. Soft or closed eyes can make a reply feel gentle; wide eyes can read as surprise; teary eyes signal sadness. Begin there when you want the face to match a particular conversation.

Mouth and frame set the tone

A small smile fits a quiet message, while an open mouth feels more excited. The round frame is compact for short replies. Wider or softer brackets add space around the expression, which can help decorative faces stand on their own.

Cheeks and arms add personality

Blush, flowers, and hearts make a face more affectionate. Arms can turn the same face into a wave, cheer, or hug. If the result becomes too busy for a username or narrow mobile field, remove the extras and keep the eyes and mouth.

COPY & PASTE

Use your kaomoji
where you write.

Every result from this Kaomoji Maker is text, so you can copy and paste it into messages, profiles, captions, and documents that accept those characters. The direct text field also lets you add a symbol that is not in the part picker or adjust the spacing by hand.

For another starting point, browse the cute kaomoji or cry kaomoji collections. Copy a face you like, then use Remix copied face to bring it into the maker. A complex expression stays editable as text even when its parts do not match the builder.

GOOD TO KNOW

Kaomoji Maker
questions.

How do I make my own kaomoji?+

Start with a preset or the default face, then switch between Eyes, Mouth, Frame, Cheeks, and Arms. Each choice updates the preview. When the kaomoji looks right, press Copy face and paste it into your message.

Can I edit a kaomoji I found on this site?+

Yes. Copy a face from a collection and choose Remix copied face. The maker opens with that exact expression. Faces built from the available parts can be changed part by part; more complex faces can be edited directly in the text field.

Why are the part buttons unavailable for some faces?+

Some kaomoji contain extra characters or an unusual arrangement that the part builder cannot safely separate. The text field still lets you edit every character. Choose a preset whenever you want to return to the part controls.

Where are my saved kaomoji stored?+

Saved faces stay in this browser on this device. You do not need an account. Clearing your browser's site data can remove them, so copy or share a favorite if you want another way to keep it.

Can I share a kaomoji I made?+

Use the link button beside Copy face. The link opens this Kaomoji Maker with your current text face already loaded, so someone else can copy it or make their own version.

Will my custom kaomoji look the same everywhere?+

Kaomoji are Unicode text, but apps and devices may use different fonts. Spacing and the shape of uncommon characters can change slightly. Preview the pasted result in the app where you plan to use it, especially for a narrow bio or username.
